Why do we need battery electric alternatives?

Battery electric alternatives are cleaner, quieter, lighter, more efficient, simpler to use, cheaper to run and maintain, have no fumes, have minimal vibration, use no petrol or oil, and have zero emissions.

Fossil-fuel powered machines are especially high polluters relative to their engine size and usage. For example, a two-stroke leaf blower used for one hour can produce as much hydrocarbons as 150 cars over the same time.

It is estimated that Australia could prevent the creation of over 1.9 million tonnes of CO2 emissions over the next 20 years if we were to transition to lower-emitting alternatives.

2023 was the hottest year on record globally. The scientific case for urgent climate action could not be clearer. We must lower emissions urgently to limit global warming and make the rapid transition to 100% renewable energy.
